Our centre houses and trains re-homed and rescued parrots from all continents and climate zones. In fact, by visiting the centre or booking an at home party, it's possible to make a virtual world voyage learning about each bird’s native environment, culture, and history. You'll get a chance to interact with the birds while learning fascinating facts and information about parrots.
You can feel good about what your money is supporting!
We work in partnership with local rescues to pair parrots waiting to be adopted with teens interested in learning how to train exotic animals using positive reinforcement.
Parrot-teen teams (affectionately known as "Parrot Troopers"), appear at fund raisers, birthday parties, as well as school and church events. These events provide continued socialization and training for the birds, motivation and a casual income for the teen trainers, promotion for the rescues and their birds, as well as entertainment and education for the public.
When you book a Parrot Trooper Parrot Party, you support parrot adoption, humane education, teen leadership training, and employment.
